The versatile Pothos, or devil's ivy, is well known for its trailing heart or arrow-shaped leaves. The pothos has many different varieties, including the Marble Queen, Jade and Neon. They prefer bright, indirect light from a North window and normal household temperatures. These plants are low maintenance and can grow in almost any light condition. They need fast-draining soil and to be completely dry between waterings. Pothos leaves will droop when underwatered but beware, letting your pothos droop too often will lead to sparce and dying leaves. Vining plants like these can be planted in a hanging basket or pot but make sure that the top of the plant is receiving adequate light to ensure active growth and a fuller plant.
