The dianthis is an indoor and outdoor plant, needing plenty of bright indirect sunlight in either location. The tiny blooms are often pink, purple, red, or white. You can remove the spent blooms to encourage the plant to produce more. They like their soil to be consistently moist, so water them when the top inch of the soil is dry. Use a well-draining potting mix with perlite and peat moss.
