Native to Asia, the Croton thrives outdoors in humid and sunny environments, you might see them in Florida. Because of its native environment, they require lots of warmth and humidity between 40 to 80%. A pebble tray or small humidifier can help increase humidity. Outdoor crotons can reach up to 8 feet tall but indoors they will be much smaller. They also like a well-draining, acidic soil.
