Also known a Chinese Evergreen, is a plant native to tropical regions of Asia. The Aglaonema likes to be potted in a well-draining potting mix, typically a houseplant potting soil mixed with additional perlite or orchid bark. Darker green varieties can grow in low light, while the plants with more variegation and lighter leaves, need more light.
