The Spathiphyllum, or Peace Lily, is native to Central and South America. It loves warm temperatures and high humdity. The Peace Lily likes to be watered when the top couple inches of soil is dry. If underwatered, the peace lily will dramatically droop, but beware, allowing your peace lily to droop everytime it needs water will lead to sparce and yellowing leaves. They like a loose potting soil with added organic matter, such as earthworm castings, and perlite.
