The Rubber tree, or rubber plant, is a favorite among houseplant owners. Reaching up to 10 feet tall indoors, this plant requires warm temperatures year round, lots of bright indirect light, and humidity to survive. There are many different types of rubber trees including, the "Tineke", the "Burgundy", and the "Ruby". Consider running a small humidifier next to your rubber tree to keep it happy if your home is dry. They like a fast-draining soil mixture, typically one for houseplants with additional perlite or orchid bark for drainage.
