LithopsLithops, also known as a "living stone", are a popular houseplant because they thrive in low humidity and need very infrequent waterings. Caring for Lithops involves mimicking their arid desert habitat with full sun, extremely well-draining, gritty soil, and a strict seasonal watering schedule focused on their dormancy cycles, watering lightly only when they wrinkle and stopping completely during winter dormancy and the spring/summer splitting phase to prevent rot, allowing old leaves to dry before watering new growth.
