Long 10" spikes of dark mahogany flowers have bright yellow keels, producing a wonderful bicolor effect. The bushy habit is jam-packed with flowers when it is in bloom early in the growing season. Flowers lighten to yellow as the flowers mature.
Baptisia is easy to grow and will thrive with little maintenance. There are many potential applications in the landscape including meadow plantings, as a backdrop in borders, or as a specimen. Plants are very long-lived once established.
The perennial warranty is valid until October 1 of the year of purchase. Provide proof of purchase. If possible, please bring the plant in. If you have photos, please share the plant showing its current condition. Upon management approval, you will be offered a store credit of 50% the original value. Warranty claims are subject to review and management approval. The warranty is limited to store credit at the stated percent. No warranty on sale items. This warranty does not cover plants that experience failure due to: Incorrect planting or improper location selection – including planting in containers, lack of maintenance or neglect – including under or over watering, extreme weather or natural disasters, and insects. Plants may be returned for full credit within 24 hours of purchase and must be in the same condition as they were when sold.
