The hoya, also commonly known as wax plants, are native to Asia. And hoyas will bloom if at maturity and given the right care. Their blooms come in multiple colors but usually present as star-shaped and clustered together in a circular shape. Hoyas will trail or vine so potting it in a hanging basket or wrapping the vines around a trellis is something to keep in mind. They require a well-draining soil mix, a regular potting soil with added perlite and orchid bark will do the trick. Hoyas should dry out completely between waterings but they like a humid environment. With hundreds of varieties, the Hoya is a sought after houseplant.
