It features delicate, finely dissected, "lacy" leaves that give it an ornamental, "fountain-like" or "cascading" appearance. This slow-growing cultivar is ideal for specimen plantings, container gardens, or near water features, and thrives in well-drained, slightly acidic soil with consistent moisture.
- Size: It is a dwarf variety, typically reaching a mature height and width of 8-12 feet
- Soil: Prefers moist, well-drained, and rich, loamy soil with a slightly acidic pH.
- Water: Requires consistent moisture, especially for its shallow roots, so mulching is beneficial.
- Light: Performs well in full sun but appreciates some afternoon shade in hotter climates to maintain its red color.
The tree and shrub warranty is valid one year from the date of purchase and covers only plant material rated for Hardiness Zone 6b. Boxwoods are not covered. Provide proof of purchase. If possible, please bring the plant in. If you have photos, please share the plant showing its current condition. Upon management approval, you will be offered a store credit of 50% the original value. Warranty claims are subject to review and management approval. The warranty is limited to store credit at the stated percent. No warranty on sale items. This warranty does not cover plants that experience failure due to: Incorrect planting or improper location selection – including planting in containers, lack of maintenance or neglect – including under or over watering, extreme weather or natural disasters, and insects. Plants may be returned for full credit within 24 hours of purchase and must be in the same condition as they were when sold.
